June 14, 2006I finally finished the screenplay for Manila Rave. I’m a bit concerned that it might be too short, coz the whole script is just 70 pages long. It’s still a work in progress, though, so the actual length of the work isn’t final yet.
I’ve had one of my friends, Aann (one of the best PMs I’ve ever worked with), check out the script and see if it’s feasible. We’re going to meet up to talk about the script maybe within the next few days.
I’m also currently looking for funding for this project. The most obvious route, of course, is to pitch this to the next installment of Cinemalaya, or even Cinema 1, if ever. But I simply can’t pin all my hopes on these organizations, so I’m looking around. Let’s just say I’m hedging up my chances.
